Size 12/13 SA Tekkies

One shoe was dated 1977, one 1978. Cool history. The shoes were made slightly different and the canvas where the laces meet is so asymmetrical it's not funny. Very odd inconsistencies. Right shoe fit tighter than left due to them. The materials quality is awesome and they're extremely stealthy. My volume when walking through the woods is reduced approx 30% compared to PF Flyers for some odd reason. I think the tread does the trick. Not most comfortable but what do you expect for a cheap mass produced surplus shoe? They're basically Novesta Star Dribbles on a budget. Goes well with a Gorka jacket. Overall pretty nice. It's like having a CZ75. Old, but still sexy, and maybe not most practical but I can't resist and what's not to like?

Cooler than Vans

Made in 1973. Uncomfortable at first, but breaking in as a I wear them. A lot more character than modern shoes. Don't know how long they'll last as I imagine the adhesives and materials have degraded over time, but they seem like they were stored well. Nonetheless, for the price, I'm very happy and plan to wear them till they wear out.

One thing's for sure, I like them a lot better than anything I can find in the store.

Tekkie Life

I really like these shoes which is why I have four pairs. They are quite sturdy but light at the same time. I quite like the color, too.

Love the Tekkies!

These are the REAL DEAL! Mine were dated 1973 and 1978. Trying to decide if I'm wearing a pair occasionally, or just keeping them as Bush War collectibles.
