Please note: we only have XL available at the moment. These are quite rare but we hope to find more sizes in the future.
In what might look like another high fashion eye-roller to the untrained eye, this is seriously one of the coolest parts of the entire extended cold weather clothing system.
This parka is the crown jewel of all the available level 7 Parkas on the market. Made by Halys & Sekri, this beast of a parka is built to be your saving grace in the cold, wet or dry. Insulated with PrimaLoft™ Sport Insulation wrapped in a Nextec® EPIC low absorption shell, it both sheds water and works just as effectively when soaking wet. The same could be said about other Level 7 parkas, however, so what makes this one different?
The "Type II" Jacket is meant to fit over the top of armor and an assault pack. This both provides a huge advantage of quick donning in emergencies and comfort while wearing plate carriers or other ammunition carrying gear. It makes throwing on a layer when you're less active in the cold a whole lot easier, and still covers you very well. And just like other pieces of the PCU, it's still very packable for its monstrous size.
As far as actual features go, It's mostly what you'd expect out of the other PCU level 7 parkas. Tuckable hood with a zipper closure, shoulder patches, abrasion resistant forearms, chest pockets, excellent zippers all around, elastic wrist cuffs, and one of the largest, and aggressive storm flaps we've ever seen to trap all the heat in. The parka also has loop shoulder fields for applicable patches & IR glint tape.
ECWCS/PCU
The protective combat uniform or PCU is a prominent, versatile, and fantastic bang-for-buck US surplus goldmine of incredibly useful clothing. You can read more about the rest of the system in an article here, and see an excellent use guide here.

Sizing
We won't understate that these things are seriously huge. As in, if you wear an XL typically, this will likely fit you loosely as it's designed to be worn with a lot of kit underneath. The jacket is cut to sit far below your waist in order to have plenty of coverage for said gear.
Condition
Parkas are in excellent condition with no tears, rips, cuts, or significant blemishes.
