It's a long and hard road to software certification, but with this its a snap! it's as easy as testing the simplest features of your code, and not informing anyone of the six or seven lines you added in... There is no possible way that they could have caused any sort of error, right? your coworkers are insane. You didn't need the newest code from the devs anyways. Just send it. It works.
