This is one the most functional pieces of kit we've ever sold. A massive amount of time and testing went into the design and construction of these parkas. The amount of storage and functionality turn the intended wearer into a walking police station, and you into a guy that doesn't need a backpack anymore.
Thanks to meddling by the EU these Forest Green Polizei Parkas in all models are getting harder and harder to find, especially as demand for them continues to increase. Their quality is unheard of in an era of cost-cutting and material/construction outsourcing. This is a "buy it for life" item, and will last you many years if properly laundered and maintained.
This parka is a rare intersection of functionality and style thanks to unique features like the belt-accessible side zips (sized for a OWB holster) a detachable pocketed fleece liner, or depending on the generation a false pocket to access pants/belt accessories. Take a look at each generation and decide which one suits your needs best.
Note on the 1st & 2nd Gen Parka's false pocket - We tested a full size Glock 34 and found it could not be effectively drawn through the false pocket. If you are planning on carrying appendix in a Gen 1 or Gen 2 we recommend a compact handgun.

Excellent parka, the outer shell is surprisingly soft and the liner is very soft as well. The zip in liner is 100% polyester but comfortable with elastic cuffs to keep the wind out. It has one zip pocket and a dual pen pocket on the left chest. No waist cinch although the cuffs of the shell are velcro and the hem is cinchable.
The liner has a tag with the year of manufacture of 2008. The left arm patch means this jacket belonged to the North-Rhine Westphalia state police (I believe), German police pretty much no longer use green though. The "Polizei" on the back, the cuffs, and the buttons are reflective. There is a basic stowaway hood in the collar. This jacket came with the large side zips for accessing your waist pockets and probably a service weapon. The side zips are large so you can access rear pants pockets with ease as well. You can also stick your hands in the side zips to keep them warm.
On the shell there are 2x button closed chest pockets, 2x button closed waist pockets, and 2x waist pockets stacked behind the button closed ones, they can be accessed via vertical zips. The chest pockets have subdividers and stuff and some sort of badge hanger.
This jacket with liner is extremely warm, the side zips can help vent out some heat, no pit zips though. Good jacket for rain, wind, snow, and weather under 50F I'd say.

Really comfy, so many pockets, got me stopped by the actual Polizei in Berlin in early 2023. Probably shouldn't have believed the many German tourists I met in the rest of Europe who said 'it'll be fine ja' but that's on me haha, 10/10 would get stopped by the Polizei again.
