Whether you're LARPing a bush war, in an actual bush war, or are trying out for the UPS Corporate Strike Team, you can't go wrong with the SADF Nutria Bush Jacket. This rugged yet lightweight jacket holds up to tough work, hot sun, and your family's harsh looks of disappointment.
This jacket's hidden buttons prevent snags, its giant pockets can fit your rations, IFAK, and rifle mags, and its classic color blends in with a range of environments without setting off the general public's mil-surp alarm.
Specs
Size & Fit
These fit true to most standard military jackets — If you know your American t-shirt size, it'll be about 1-2" larger in the chest to accommodate for layers underneath and due to the fact that the Saffies liked to cut their uniforms generously.
For example: a size "large" jacket would have a chest circumference measurement of 48" and 24" when laid flat, whereas a typical large tee is 22-23" laid flat depending on fit.
All jackets are "regular" length, being about the same as many other surplus parkas & smocks, closely resembling the US M65. If you're a short king, the jacket will ride a little lower than your hips with sleeves that'll just barely go past your wrist. If you're tall it'll still be below your beltline, and the sleeves might be a quarter inch short at the very most.
For example: a size "large" jacket had a collar-to-hem (on the back) measurement of about 32".

Great jacket for all your safari needs
Color and description of jacket correct. It used everyday by me. Good for a wind break and great for days when it's a bit chilly but still too hot for a heavy jacket. For me the jacket was a bit snug , I got a XL and would have gotten a 2XL if Kommando had it in stock. Other wise no complaints.
Typically worn for those spring/early fall days when I just need a little something over my T Shirt. Brand new, great quality and very comfortable.
Great jacket.
Mine is a Marburg from 1984.
Runs large.
(Should have bought a Large rather than an Extra Large.)
