Polizei Sommerblouson Revival

Cold War Cool
Sommerblouson was born in the heart of the Cold War; a summer-weight patrol jacket issued to West Germany's State police.
The green "Förstergrün" color debuted in the early 70s, and quickly entered public consciousness as West Germany struggled against the Soviet Union.
Nearly 50 years later the EU forced the iconic forest-green uniform into retirement, making sommerblouson jackets an exceptionally rare piece of Cold War history.
Beyond Authentic
Sommerblouson has always been the most desirable part of the Förstergrün uniform, and original pieces are virtually impossible to find.
Our Polizei jackets are as close as it gets: we're using the original manufacturer, the original patterns, and color-matched materials.
All we have to do is meet the minimum order for production.

We Need You
To bring sommerblouson back, we need your help.
We have a shot at a very attractive production schedule, but our window of opportunity is closing fast. To properly gauge demand and reserve manufacturing capacity, we're asking for email signups in support of this project.
If you're interested in Sommerblouson all we ask is that you fill in your email — there's no obligation to purchase, and you won't be added to our general mailing list.
