The MK.12 was a "Special Purpose" Rifle born out of the growing needs for a more adaptable platform for urban fighting after the battle of Mogadishu. Chambered in Black Hills Ammo's Mk. 262, a heavy but accurate 5.56 NATO round, it became renowned for it's adaptability as a Designated Marksman Rifle & used extensively by some of the highest-tier special forces in the world.
