Austrian KAZ 03 Alpine Assault Pack

Just about everything from Austria is built to Glock tier dead-reliable standards, and their mountain troop packs are no different. These are the exceedingly rare 25L assault packs used by the Bundesheer — we've barely ever seen them on the market and we don't think it's likely that we'll see them again.

In classic Austrian fashion, there's an extremely well featured pack under the guise of something run-of-the-mill. The pack features a tuck-away harness and hip belt, expandable cinch-closure main opening, a lid with two interior zipper pockets hidden away, and an internal frame that doubles as a sitting pad.

All the webbing on the pack has a uniquely soft feeling but doesn't lose out on any durability — it's backed up by robust fastex buckles all around. And there's plenty of webbing to go around to secure ALICE-style side pouches.

It honestly doesn't get better than this - a handsome OD pack that expands and contracts to your needs, and is built to last through all the abuse the Alps deals out.

• Perfectly functional with either minor or no cosmetic blemishes, abrasions, or other signs of use.

Good

• Gear that's seen normal use, but retains uncompromised utility.
• Minor cosmetic blemishes, abrasions, or other signs of use.
• May exhibit writing and/or markings, including rank, serial numbers, etc.

 Serviceable

• Gear that remains field-ready, but sports a rougher, worn aesthetic. 
• May have significant cosmetic blemishes, abrasions, or other signs of use. For the KAZ 03 Alpine Packs, we found this to be most prevalent in wear around the fabric surrounding the drawstring of the pack.
• May exhibit writing and/or markings, including rank, serial numbers, etc.
