Austria's mountainous terrain forces their military to collaborate extensively with the hiking and outdoors industry. The Austrian mountain pant is one such collaboration and is essentially a military "trekking pant."

Looser and lighter than the standard-issue M75, the mountain issue pant is designed to allow nearly unrestricted movement in difficult terrain. Our batch comes from multiple manufacturers and is split between ripstop and non-ripstop models.

Both fabric options are comfortable, lightweight, and quick-drying — the choice between them is largely aesthetic. The ripstop version is slightly thinner and has a visible "checkering" characteristic in its construction.

  • Two large-zippered cargo pockets with cover flaps
  • Two front slash pockets
  • Zipper fly
  • Fabric is doubled at knees
  • Built-in blousing ties at bottom of pant leg
  • Fluent in German

Condition

These pants have been checked for any tears, cuts, stains, or missing components. Pants may be missing up to 1 zipper pull tab on a cargo pocket. All zippers are fully functional

KAZ 03 pants: Like pajamas but cooler.

The anzug pants in general are pretty solid at first glance but they just get better. Adjustable cuffs if you blouse your pants and spacious cargo pockets for whatever goods you may need in the Alps. European sizing is confusing so research before you buy but you’ll probably be ok. 10/10 would’ve won Austria WW1

Replaced every last Jean I owned

I've bought some variant of the Anzug pants for years now. Every time that I had a pair of jeans, they'd wear out or become so patch-ridden you could only wear them around the house, so I replaced the lot of them with these instead.

Now, don't be fooled - these are probably not pants to wear to a white collar office job, but if they're good enough for daily use and can (in an instant) be good for rainstorms or the Appalachian Trail then they're good enough for me.

Better than expected.

Bought for cheap as "defective" expecting a few holes and stains but found none, the only white mark on it came off with water. Overall very comfortable and does not have an odor to them.
