make me vice president of these pants' fan club
Incredibly high-waisted pants in a pattern that'll let you blend in with the foliage and stand out from the crowd.
Like the US Military's M81 Woodland camo, British DPM has had a remarkably long service history in several military organizations worldwide, particularly in countries that were previously British colonies. The origins of DPM can be traced back to the hand-painted Denison smock used by British commandos in the 1940s. Early patterns of DPM continued to be used for some field uniforms until it was adopted more broadly in 1968. Up until 2016, DPM had been the standard camo pattern used by the British Armed Forces and is still the issued pattern in several countries.
The DPM Field Pants are high-quality field trousers hailing from a certain country with ridiculously low standards for dentistry. With numerous adjustment points to maintain efficiency and simplicity, and abundant storage provided by its five pockets (three of which can be buttoned), these pants are designed for utility. The DPM camo enables the user to blend seamlessly into wooded environments (your moms backyard) while still allowing them to be worn on the street without looking like a LARPer. The adjustable drawstring waist and ankles allows for a slightly tailored fit.
Features
Sizing
The DPM Field Pants are sized using standard NATO sizing, which we've translated to good ol' American pant sizing. All you'll need is your inseam, and waist circumference.
Condition
Field Pants are in excellent condition, with no tears, rips, or holes, and all hardware functional and intact.
Incredibly high-waisted pants in a pattern that'll let you blend in with the foliage and stand out from the crowd.
Comfortable and soft trousers.
They feel light when worn, and I think they will most likely be quite comfortable in hot weather.
The size fits perfectly at the waist. The length of the inseam is 3cm shorter than what is indicated on the label (I needed 80 cm, but there was only an 85cm option for a waist of 84cm, and therefore I ordered 85cm inseam), but it turns out that played into my hands, since 85cm would have been too long, and so with those minus -3cm it turns out 82 cm inseam - almost perfect.
The color and pattern are original, as are the pants themselves).
The condition is very good, it feels like they are new or have only been worn a couple of times, maybe due to the wear resistance.
There are no defects, all buttons are in place and the zipper is in working order.
The belt on photo is mine - french Ceinturon Famas F2, it doesn't come with the pants).
My sizes:
height - 186cm
weight - 79-81kg
waist - 82/84cm
inseam - 80/82cm
Trousers sizes:
waist - 84cm
inseam - 85cm indicated(real size is 82cm)
Gotta be honest, these are some of the most comfortable pants I own now. And I wear them almost all the time, especially they make for very good nap pants.
Fits great, looks brand new and matches the top and harness I also got from Kommandostore.
