With its reinforced brim and drawstring retention it’ll stay safely on your head in all but the worst conditions. It also sports air vents to keep your noggin at optimal temperature. Biomechanics anyone? The added cherry on top is the “molle like” scrim holders around the band of the hat. That way you stay nice and hidden for your recce patrols to get your chicken tendies…

Sizing
Measure the widest circumference around the top of your forehead where the lip of the hat would rest. From what we've found these hats are pretty spot on to their size.
Condition
Jungle Hats are in great condition with only minors signs of use and no tears, stains, rips, or holes. May be missing shockcord chinstrap, but this can easily be replaced with any shockcord on the market. :)
Nice boonie. And it’s good at boonie stuff. Mine arrived issued, but probably hardly used and not remotely faded. It seems to be made from the “tropical weight” materiel as it’s relatively thin and quite soft compared to another example I have, but the lightweight DPM is still very tough.
Didn't come with a strap/string but hat itself is nice and in good condition.
Ordered a 55cm, as that was a couple cm more than my head size, unfortunately, it is too tiny to wear. It was of course in great condition, so I will keep it and give it to my friend's children for that UK drip.
