Multicam, Multicam, Multicam. There's a reason it has become so prevalent since Crye developed it back in the early 2000’s. It just works™, which may be the reason that almost every modern western military (and the odd Slavic country) has some sort of variant currently deployed. There are subtle differences throughout the Multicam variants, but the coolest one (in our opinion) is without a doubt the MOD’s Multi-Terrain Pattern (MTP).
When the British military decided to dethrone the king of camo that was DPM, they at least had the sense to use Crye’s color palette with DPM shapes and shading, after spending years developing new colorways in their ‘PECOC’ trials. It resulted in both a great nod to the historic DPM pattern’s capability and introduced a slightly more unique version of Multicam to the market.
This 3rd generation combat shirt comes with some unique features as well, with a“Cool Max” Fabric mesh body that features the same MTP as the durable cotton poly arms, in addition to extending under the armpits for maximum ventilation. Its dual shoulder pockets feature removable velcro covers (that also conveniently let you get rid of the British flag). It’s a prolific combat shirt with better specs than most civilian-available models, and it won’t cost you a pretty penny (or your dignity) like the latest hypebeast combat shirt drop.

British MTP Coolmax Combat Shirt
Great quality for the money! Aside from the typical surplus uniform smell, it seems brand new. It also came with a 3rd Para DZ/ jump wings patch on the shoulder pocket.
Coolmax is excellent under a plate carrier! The example I received is quite faded on the shoulders with a small hole I’ll have to patch on the left arm. The fit is perfect! Comfort is amazing! Defiantly worth the price compared to buying a new one!
I live the fabrics used on this OTW style shirt, the chest mesh-type material its very cool and is excellent under warm conditions or as a base layer in mid season.
The camo blend well in many environments and doesn’t tickle most autisms when combined with standard Multicam webbing or PCs.
Ordered the XL perfect fit. Just wish it still had the Union Jack flag and insignia
honestly a really good combat shirt for just $50, good material and very comfortable. the velcro on the shoulder pockets is a bit odd cause they're just rectangle outlines for the cover things that go over them, but they'll still fit any decent sized patches you slap on em. (pic unrelated he's my dog (i love him so much))
