Originally, the Pelican Golden Hour ONE-V Container was engineered for a very specific, high-stakes mission: allowing elite special forces units to carry delicious chilled blood for emergency transfusions in the field. It was built to keep critical payloads safe in the absolute worst conditions imaginable. 

Turns out, having a large GP pouch with a rigid Tegris liner is also extremely useful for carrying other valuables like night vision, pastries, or vials of used bathwater.

Let us be perfectly clear before you buy: This does NOT include the cooling system. You will have to find other options to preserve the chill of your field-liquor.

We are selling the rugged Multicam pouch and the rigid Tegris liner only. You do not get the vacuum insulation panels or the thermal isolation chamber to keep blood (or beer [or…parts] {or tactical gazpacho]) cold for 48 hours. Unless you’re an actual vampire (which you are NOT, please stop with the fan-fiction), you do not need the cooler anyway. You need an indestructible box to preserve the supple features of your twinkies in the field.

• MOLLE Backing: Easily attach this fortress to your plate carrier, backpack, or battle belt. Or hook a biner through it and do whatever you want
• .Elastic-Tensioned Flap: An internal elastic band pulls the top flap tight, creating a highly secure enclosure that won't let your gear bounce around (or escape captivity).
• Heavy-Duty Front Buckle: Keeps the pouch locked down tight when things get chaotic (extra fun mode).
• Bottom Drain Hole:  Much more helpful than top drain holes.
• Genuine Multicam: The pattern that works everywhere, or nowhere, depending on who you’re talking to.
