If you're a fan of our "Polizei" gore-tex parkas with all their features but either don't want POLIZEI on your back or want something a lot more subtle to wear on the daily, the Dutch Customs police would like a word with you... not because you didn't pay duties, however.
Its main party trick is the side-zips at the hip to allow for more maneuverability and quick access to a side arm just in case - but the nice features don't stop there. It features zipped & spacious napoleon pockets nestled within the jacket's front storm flap, a retractable hood, and a phenomenal removable quilted liner.
Besides its 90s sh*tbox car teal color scheme people would be none the wiser that you copped it for 60 bucks. It may look like a VW but it rides like a Merc.

Sizing:
The "Parka" cut is manufactured to cover an officer's waist-belt and its accessories and are, therefore, longer and wider than typical.
The "Jacket" style is cut a bit higher, not meant to cover the thighs of the user at all.
Due to manufacturing differences, there are slight differences in jacket fit (in both height and width) even within the same EU size. We've attached US Letter size to each variant for your convenience.
Condition
Parkas are in like-new condition, with no signs of wear. Dutch customs emblems/badges have been removed from the jackets, and all jackets will have evidence of this.
Dutch Customs Waterproof Parka
Getchu one. Large and with big pockets out the wazoo. Tested in 5 F temps today and felt comfy as hell. Sizing is accurate with the parka reaching almost to my knees. Subtle enough to not draw eyes but classy enough to be worn most anywhere. Banana for scale.
This thing is like 4 jackets in 1. Liner is removable and so are the sleeves. You can wear the liner as a vest if you're a corporate type or wear the jacket without the liner in warmer weather. I'd recommend it, especially if you're in a wet costal area which these were intended for.
every other windbreaker, parka, and hoodie I have ever owned that said "waterproof" on the tag straight up lied. either it'd soak through, or it was sewn with absorbent thread so it bled through the shoulders.
highly recommend ordering a little oversized so you can layer easier
This wasn't an "I need", rather it was an "I want". Love the color. Love all the pockets.
I love this jacket, it's nice and warm, but the only problem is that there's too many pockets, I can't keep track of anything, I think I lost my neighbors cat in there because I can hear it meow sometimes. Overall, great jacket!
