The Finnish M62 reversible camo field pants are unlike any others at KommandoStore. Developed in the 1960s, this field pant is part of a fully reversible uniform designed to suit Finnish troops year-round. Just take it off, transfer your stuff from the exterior pockets to the interior pockets, and you've gone from summer stroll to Simo Hayha.
This lightweight, durable, and striking 100% cotton pant is great for outdoorsmanship, working, and taking both sides and/or neither side in cold wars.
A note on the coloring: the Finnish military didn't really care if they matched shades from uniform to uniform or even from shirt to pants. Let's be real — neither do you. If you cared about fitting in, you wouldn't be here. There's a range of shades to these, so enjoy the surprise.

Sizing
Finnish M62 Pants and Jackets use standard European sizing. We've roughly translated these sizes over to US sizing, but for the best fit we'd recommend finding your EU size.

Pants are in good, usable condition. All hardware is intact and functional. Pants may show signs of use, and pattern may be worn to varying degrees.

Finally a pair in my size!
Finnish military surplus is usually hard to find and harder to find in a reasonable size as all the men of average size took their uniforms home or they were so overused by each new set of conscripts they fell apart. However, after 6 years, I finally found the size that fits me! Now it’s worth mentioning “fits” means as over pants as they are meant to be be worn as over pants to the Finns’ wool trousers, the hand pockets are false so you could access your other trouser pockets. That being said if you don’t mind the extra air flow and skin exposure I suppose you could just tighten the draw string and wear them as. The fabric’s softness is very soft, the softness you can only get from many washes. The drawstring provides plenty of size variability, though the sizes provided by kommando seem to be accurate I wear a 32x32 and the size I ordered was perfect. According to my Finnish father, in Finland it was common for conscripts to have over pants many sizes larger than they needed since their size wasn’t available showing how effective the drawstring can be.
