You've seen it in .webms on /k/ and un-embeddable mp4s & .webps on r/militaryp*rn, the first and second Chechen Wars were known for the broadcasted brutality of post-soviet Russian military combat that the world typically didn't see.
A conflict full of controversy and plenty of new gear for foamers-at-the-mouth to yearn for 20 years later, one of our favorite pieces is the humble "Chechenka" hat.
Surprisingly hard to properly source in the canonical Flora pattern in the 2020s, It's the perfect complement to any slav gear and it keeps your noggin nice and warm while you've been forced to keep your BRDM-2 engine (and heater) turned off until you move to the next mud-splattered village to hurry up and wait.
The pattern we chose ended up being our own reverse-engineering of the "Flora" pattern deployed on troops during the Chechen wars and may look different (but better) than others on the market! But we believe the spirit and the feel of the original is still there.

Beanie fits well, if snug, and is good at keeping one's head warm. Material was of good quality. Would recommend to anyone looking for a good piece of winter headgear.
My only complaint is how low the maker's tag is. If you double it up around the ears/ forehead, you and can see the tag. Outside of that, it'll keep your head warm, and help ya look like Hella good.
This beanie is very well made, the material is quality. Definitely worth every dollar.

Very well made, cammo pattern is very good for most of Montana, priced right. Only gripe is the manufacturing tag location. It’s very low, almost on the edge and so brilliantly white, looks like a French surrender flag. Advise being careful if you remove it as can open up a seam. Otherwise highly recommend.
