It's hard to go wrong with surplus fleeces - and where the US left a woodland-shaped hole in our heart, French CCE camo steps in to give camo lovers what they really want.
CCE is a woodland pattern designed to match the ecology of mainland Europe, with the 'CE' literally standing for Centre Europe. Unlike US M81 Woodland, it features thicker and heavier patterning like other French camos of the 90s.
This quarter zip fleece issued to the French Military is a comfortable low-pile fleece that keeps you warm but isn't a heavy moisture magnet. It's a great addition under lighter jackets if you prefer to dress like l'Oignon in the winter time — without a full-zip to mess with it doesn't make your chest crowded or uncomfortable with layers of zippers.
Sizing
From our experience these jackets run small in their native Frog sizing- we've translated their sizing to the equivalent US size. Our model is 6' 0" tall with a chest size of 37" and found the Size Large (112) to fit without an issue.
Condition
Jackets are in new condition. Absolutely no tears, marks, rips, stains, writing, or blems.

Probably the best outdoor work fleece I own now. It’s just the right weight to be a great under layer and an outer layer in the fall. I’m 6’1 220 and a Large is perfect for me, if you’re under 5’10 the large will be pretty long. Can’t beat the price either.

Real talk this thang comfy af. Thin yet cozy. Similar to the Army fleece cap. Sizing is great. Even for guys like us that have bear traps and hit chest harder than my dad hit me. Anyway, fits well as an insulating layer. Great for tactical lounging in the house. Cant wait to use it on my government-paid camping trips.

Unfortunately it doesn't appear KS is having the intern chain-smoke and eat multiple cans of escargot in these anymore the one I received was brand new in bag and smelled as such. Fitment is perfect (my stats below). Only note is this is a thinner fleece made for a light warm French breeze. Layer with a long sleeve tee for hoodie type warmth or something shorter for more breathability.
