Gorka Care Instructions

Machine wash in cold or warm water (up to 40°C / 104°F)
Use a soft detergent and do not use bleach
Use low mechanical force and avoid wringing
Drip or hang dry
Only iron the outer side at low or medium temperature (150-200°C / 302-572°F)
Dry clean with tetrachloroethylene (PCE) only

Instantly taught me how to be real Russian man

Tovarisch, I put gorka on and instantly became real Russian man. Vodka appeared magically in right hand, borscht appeared on stove top. I found myself squatting like real gopnik. Then, Stalin came from sky and gifted me new AK-47 and Mosin Nagant. If you buy Gorka it will happen to you!

It's like wearing a comfy tent

Rain resistant, and tick proof. Just what I need when I go spelunking and exploring through the plains of the midwest and it's lovely forests and rainfall. The beauty of this gorka is also fantastic, it makes me become one with nature when I sit down.

Although one small downside the lower leg tick traps weren't sown together very well at the exit by the back close to the ankle and it started to unwind so I had to do a quick tightening with the wonderfully convenient West German sewing kit. So many useful things.

Great Product! Great redesign of a slav classic

As soon as I put the gorka on, I knew I was a changed man. It even gave me the ability to fly a helicopter, instantly!

Fit was exactly what I wanted, and the calf material rework is an excellent addition. Really feel like I am sheltered from the elements.

Great gear! I purchased with the 1st pre-order back in 2016. I routinely wear the jacket as a light jacket / rain coat. Very easy to waterproof. 3-4x cans of waterproofing spray (camp dry) should do it. This is a light jacket, but don't go all "Duncan" and put on several light coats, spray that shit in at least 2x heavy coats and get in the seams all nice and deep-like. While still damp with spray, throw it in a plastic garbage bag and seal it up tight for at least 24hrs (to really seal in the "flavor").

Haven't tried using wax but it will probably work too. Depending on how often you wear it will determine how often you'll have to apply the waterproofing. This method will keep you dry in most rain but with heavy downpours, you may get damp/find where the waterproofing is thin.
