Gorka K2 Red Dawn Mountain Suit
We recommend using tailors tape to record your measurements. When measuring your chest, remember to breathe normally; do not measure your chest at the extremes of inflation or deflation.
Height
True to size. If you are between heights, follow your personal preference.
Chest/Waist
True to size. To accommodate layering and preserve mobility, we recommend going with your exact size, or if you are between sizes, sizing up.
How to pick your size
For Gorka complete suits, you'll pick your chest size, and the waist size paired with it is automatic. The chart below shows how we pair up the suits.
If you are getting Gorka pieces separately, simply measure your chest for the jacket, and your waist for the pants.
Please note: For full Gorka suits, the pants are extremely elastic at the waist. There's plenty of wiggle room up and down so in a vast majority of cases, they will fit as long as you pick the right jacket.

Care Guide
Kommandostore Gorka K2s are constructed using Polycotton Ripstop fabric, which differs from many Gorkas on the market, and require a different care routine when cleaning is necessary.
- Machine wash in cold or warm water (up to 40°C / 104°F)
- Use a mild detergent, and do not use bleach or fabric softener.
- Use low mechanical force, and avoid wringing
- Drip or hang dry
- Only iron the outer side at low or medium temperature (150-200°C / 302-572°F)
- Dry clean with tetrachloroethylene (PCE) only

Gorka K2 Trousers: Slav Squat Approved
If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
Gorkas had an excellent original suspender design, but we upgraded the materials significantly with modern elastic and ripstop.
It retains its original function with superb support and stays out of the way of your chest for all day comfort.
The K2 trousers did get a zipper fly after many requests but still feature upgraded slot-mounted TPU buttons at the top of the fly for long-term durability.
The belt loops are all 2", reinforced with ample bar-tacking to handle heavy belts & two-piece shooter's belts.
Large & Flexible TPU buttons mounted slot-style on the fly & pockets are practically unbreakable.
Thanks to their mounting, they're less prone to snapping off, and have the ability to slide up and down for even more flexibility.
Pockets feature flaps with covered buttons to stay snag free.
Original Gorkas typically featured a high waist and single-seam crotch. It performed as good as it looked — like a potato sack.
We added an extra large diamond shape gusset that goes down to the knee, and lowered the rise to sit comfortably below the navel for a contemporary, high-mobility fit.
It looks and feels good even in the deepest slav squats.
The waistband is incredibly stretchy. Even when you add or remove layers, your pants will accommodate.
We've also added extra elastic cuffs in the lower leg to remove snag hazards while retaining mobility.
Lastly, we've added leg stirrups and an inner gaiter seen in other types of Gorkas to keep the pant legs uniform around your footwear.
Gorka K2 Jacket: Classic Style, Modernized Features
We've reworked the seam structure and size of the hood to accommodate a full range of motion.
It twists along with your head, and easily adjusts to your head using two shock cords.
The brim on Original Gorkas was flimsy, so we stiffened it to work as it should.
The bicep pockets now feature a surface to place your favorite velcro patches.
Under-arm mesh venting keeps you cool in changing weather conditions.
Two bands of elastic at the forearms slims down the jacket without restricting movement.
Shock cord adjustments at the waist and torso refine your fit even further, unlike the original Gorka's single drawstring waist.
Shock cord at the waist is kept out of the way with a keeper, ensuring you stay snag free.
Large & Flexible TPU buttons on the fly & pockets are practically unbreakable.
We used "Slot Style" mounting so they are less prone to snapping off, and have the ability to slide up and down for even more flexibility.
Our jacket also features a dual heavy duty luggage zipper.
Materials Matter — a closer look at the construction of the K2
Durable Ripstop
Ripstop does as the name implies — It stops rips & tears dead in their tracks.
It's grid pattern aids in keeping damage contained, makes field repairs easier and greatly increases longevity of the suits.
The fabric has a blend of Polyester and Cotton — a perfect balance of durability and breathability.
Flexible TPU
TPU buttons don't crack or shatter like traditional plastic buttons and don't wear out over time like a metal snap would.
Thermoplastic Poly-Urethane Is known for its ability to resist abrasion, oils & grease, and its excellent flexibility.
It makes for fantastic fastening hardware, and we used it all over our Gorka.
Bonded Thread
We specifically picked a high-strength bonded nylon to stitch the whole suit together.
"Bonded" describes the process of chemically treating the twisted yarn together prior to it's final "winding", resulting in high UV, Abrasion, and mildew resistance.
It's commonly used in heavy-duty applications on denim & leather products, and will hold up to all kinds of abuse on our Gorka.

Legendary coat
Love this coat. Seems to be pretty well made. Fitment was good. The pros: iconic camo pattern. Good quality. Durable. Affordable. Cons: Front pockets are SUPER short/shallow from some reason. Button holes are just a tad too small for the buttons making them difficult to use. But overall, I like it, and I think it's a good value. I wish they would make different styles of jackets in the future utilizing this pattern :)

Great Gorka
The fit is great, plenty of room for layers under it and drawcords at the waist, hood and bottom hem keep out snow and wind. Good wind and water resistance and really comfortable. The camouflage blends in well here in the snow covered mountains of northern New England or any winter climate for that matter.

Livin' (and wearin') a slavic dream
Ever since I got into the STALKER series back in the day, always dreamed of owning a gorka suit. Growing older and stumbling across kstore and this partizan piece, it was time to make that dream a reality!
Overall, I love this suit: well made, really comfy, and I've been wearing it a ton around the house; doing yard work; slav squatting, bumping some кино, eating canned шпроты, & getting compliments at work with it. Love that it's a bit water resistant (light rain and mist just bead up).
Only criticisms I have with mine is that the jacket's zipper is a bit fiddly to connect the zipper together and the suit material tag says nyco, vs polyco on the website. And since I'm between listed sizes for the full suit (I'm just over 6'), opted for the larger one for layering, but even so, the sleeves and legs are a bit long and loose for me and the suspenders are a bit loose too. So keep in mind your fit preference if you are in-between sizes!
But regardless, I love this gorka, and I know I will be for many years to come here in the zone!
