Definitely needs breaking in
I'll be making this review in two parts, going over the good and bad.
The bad is, when you first get them, they're agony to wear for more than a couple hours. The insole is not good, but the main pain is probably going to be your heels. The buckle straps aren't punched evenly either, and the hole where the buckle pin comes out is too small for it
The good is, after the first couple weeks of agonizing break in, you'll go to put them on and realize that they're actually very comfortable now and you've been wearing them all day. A decent aftermarket insole isn't too much money and can make a massive difference in an already comfortable boot. And punching a hole in a better spot for the buckle is easy enough, but might not even be necessary with your boots
