Italian Mod 75 Field Jacket

Almost immediately after being introduced during the Vietnam War, the M65 parka was cemented into the collective unconsciousness of the Western world. It is the military parka everyone and their mother knows. The design reigns king — like the AK47, the iPhone, and the New York Pizza, some versions of the M65 will be made until the end of time.

But the Italians took that New York Slice and made it Neapolitan, so it was the perfect fit for the Italian Army. Or if you are a bit more cultured, the Forze Armate. With two breast pockets and two waist pockets, its load carrying capacity keeps your supply of Italian cured salami close at hand. With its elastic waist, it’ll show off your voluminous curves extremely well (and keep you warm). Its classic OD green colorway goes with pretty much anything, and unlike anything made in china it comes with that classic surplus smell. With its full button front, buttonable cuffs and reinforced elbows, this jacket will last you a long time —  and it has a lot more soul than an H&M special.
