Our fictionalized Rhodesian "Brigade" Patch inspired by other animals of the African Savannah, featuring none other than our beloved "floppa", the Caracal cat.

With muscular, almost comically proportioned bodies, the Caracal cats are known to be athletes, able to jump 10 feet into the air to catch birds and can last for far longer than other mammals without water — rather fitting for a fictional desert warfare brigade. The Caracal cat did find some limited iconography other places within the SADF, including having a high-speed, 8-wheel-driven tank, the "Rooikat" (Caracal cat in Afrikaans).
