I like them

The first day I wore them, a coworker asked if I stole them from the holocaust museum. 10/10 would tell him it was a limited run of 271k pairs.

Great shoes

These are old school Altama OTB lows. Same styling full rubber sole and toe. Light, breathable, and washable. They’ve become my daily wear shoes. I liked them so much I bought another pair for when these eventually wear out.

Good foot wear

I couldn't find size 10 and a half so went up to 11 like I would for running shoes. They are comfortable and so far accommodating to my feet.

Light material and ease to stow away for a bug out bag. They aren't Merrell's or Solomons but for the price point I could probably get two to three of these to have on hand.

Interesting shoes

I am happy with these shoes. The Color and feel. Not crazy about the laces, but I grew up spoiled with thick military style laces. This shoe screams light and minimalist. Perhaps minimalist before the word became a buzz word in the tacti-cool community. First impressions are good. I will be doing some walking and while this probably wouldn't be great in the mud. If I don't like the laces I can always replace them.

The biggest winning point was the sizing. This fit perfectly. Right size for my feet. While not as much support, but I am an old foot soldier so the feet are not what they once were. Time will tell how well they hold.

The Tekkiest

They're surprisingly thick in the outsole for a Converse style shoe, probably about half what you'd get in the average combat boot. Not quite as good as a normal hiking boot then which will be lighter, but much better than a combat boot in terms of weight and flexibility without losing much in terms of protection. And of course the style can't be beat. I also must commend it for having big sizes, grips the big toe tightly but is overall roomy. Wear with a gorka and the low tops won't bother ya none.
