Sizing Notes
Unlike originals, which were sized specifically for each operator, we've opted for a one-size-fits-most system.
Based off larger existing rigs with the ability to adjust down, it accommodates chest sizes from US Small to 2XL, with some compromise on either extreme due to limitations of the original design.
The shoulder pads are ride-height adjustable and should accomodate most people without issue.

It's important to get your gear dialed in to your body, and the Jaeger has no problem adjusting to sizes from S to 2XL with ease at the waist and shoulders.

Once you're done adjusting the cummerbund, strap keepers retain any loose webbing so it doesn't get caught on your vast arsenal of arms (literally and figuratively).
PALS webbing smothers the front & back for endless customization
A velcro-secured panel design complimented by exterior adjustment straps makes the Defender 2 extremely comfortable when loaded down with armor.
Like originals, ours is mainly designed for accommodating standard capacity Kalashnikov mags in its included pouches.
Like originals, ours comes with a groin (really, abdomen) & neck protector, including foam inserts to hold its shape.

It's far beyond the "Airsoft" quality of some repro Defender 2s on the market, without sacrificing any of the rugged simplicity of the original.

Built For Hard Use
We started by basing prototypes off of multiple originals and ended up doing ours in a color that roughly matches our existing SMERSH and Jeager rigs, a slightly cooler OD green.
Its main fabric is a 1000D Cordura that's practically bombproof and naturally water-resistant, reinforced with ample box stitching & bar-tacks like the original.

We worked with a highly experienced manufacturer in Pakistan to bring the carrier back from 'unobtanium' status in the west without costing an oligarch's fortune.
Compared to the original as well as many poorly made examples in China, the quality is higher, and far more consistent than the mediocre clones from Alibaba.

Grab And Go
If you opt for the full bundle, we provide enough AK magazine pouches for a full "placard" loadout, so you'll be able to carry 3 mags with elastic retention. Also included are a large GP pouch and a Radio Pouch.
All is re-positionable thanks to the PALS webbing all over the rig. You can also add your own pouches to completely deck out the rig!
The rig is fully furnished with foam inserts - some manufacturers make new-production plates for the plate pockets if you wish to acquire them.

Removable, Adjustable
The AK Mag pouches are intended for standard-capacity 30 rounders and have no problem accommodating different styles of 30 rounders (plastic, metal, bakelite).
The shock cord with an extra-large tab for easy manipulation is easy to adjust and allows for fast reloads.

Spanish style shoulder harness buckles make quick-doffing extremely simple and intuitive to re-stage. metal hardware ensures this feature will practically never fail.
Cummerbund & Adjustment
Donning the Defender is done in two steps, securing the armor panels with velcro, then buckling for an ultra-secure fit that hugs your body.
We based ours off of a larger model to accommodate for the average man wearing this over a jacket/other clothing, but it can be sized down to as small as a US S and as large as a US 2XL.
It's all-day comfortable and easy to adjust on your own or with the help of a friend.

AKM-Style Magazines
As this is a clone of the Fort Defender 2 intended for the AKM platform, expect the classic 30-rounders for 7.62x39 chambered rifles to fit perfectly.
5.45 magazines of the 30-round variety will also fit.
Taller magazines such as the 40 round magazines intended for the RPK will exceed the shock cord's adjustability on the pouches and may only be able to be ran open-top.
NATO/STANAG Magazines
AR-15 and other STANAG-styled magazines will fit comfortably; however, they may be difficult to access quickly due to the depth of the pouch itself
You can add mag assists/ranger plates to each magazine or add a filler (foam or plastic wedge) to the bottom of the pouch to make your freedom-filled STANAG mags work just as well as the commie mags.
