Swedish M90 camouflage originally began its life as vehicle camouflage developed by the Försvarets forskningsanstalt (FOA) in the 1970’s.
With solid colorways becoming rather dated by the late 1980s, Sweden decided to adapt its FOA camouflage for use amongst its personnel as M90. Designed to hide Sweden’s planes and tanks from the aerial and satellite reconnaissance of the late Soviet Union, it was especially useful in hiding amongst Sweden’s forest and tundra. And since most people aren’t as large as a tank (unlike your average American), the Swedes decided to scale it down by a proportion of 1:66.
The result? An uncharacteristically clean camouflage. With its hard lines and geometric patterning, it’s hard to believe this pattern was originally developed in the late 70s. It was so modern its influence can even be found in Battlefield 4… if you know where to look. It certainly makes for a uniquely futuristic camouflage that isn’t MULTICAM®️ (thank the Lord).
The M90 Field Pants are probably one the most standout features for field pants on our site.
They sport two buttonable hand pockets to keep your hands warm and your phone and keys safe & secure while the zippered side pockets give you ample space to store spare medical supplies or Swedish Fish. The heavy-duty construction also includes reinforced knees and zippered calves along with integral elastic in the cuff to keep out any inclement Scandinavian-type weather.

The Swedes thought they were making a sizing utopia by deciding your size with height and weight. Honestly? It works pretty well. Figure out your height (in centimeters), and input your overall weight and you should have a well-fitting pair of field pants.

Awesome pants. Came like new, as in really never been worn before. Material is really sturdy. Maybe a little slim in the waste, I might move the button over an inch or so.
I got too fat for my previous pair and needed new pants. The sizes are in height and weight, and seem to hold true. Buy with confidence.

These work super well with high ankle boots, or even high top sneakers as streetwear! They are super nice fabric quality and the camo pattern is amazing, the beige is a little more muted in person than in the picture. I stand at 6’2 and the tall option is like high waisted pants but with a belt and some undershorts or leggings to prevent chafing from the fabric rubbing on your thighs they fit perfectly! Crazy amount of room in the cargo pockets as well!
These are some heavy duty pants! Definitely good for the fall! Super beefy zippers! The pair I recieved look to be unissued.
