So what do you do? Open up YouTube (Broadcast Yourself!) where surely someone has figured out a way to just get all those pixels for free. You type in "TF2 Hats free 2008 working" and sure enough there's a tutorial of the same name.
You click on it, and in an instant "Dreamscape" by 009 soundsystem molests your ears at high volume. The video is painfully slow paced, but you have no choice but to watch it as it slowly trudges on, or face the curse of waiting for the video to buffer.
There's this weird thing in the corner, "Unregistered Hypercam 2". Little did you know how taken for granted this free trial was to all the people screen recording themselves on the world wide web. Like WinRAR, it endlessly but gently bullies you for not forking over your hard-earned cash. But you don't care. The best things in life are free, and if a little watermark has to sit there, you don't see any reason to be offended...
