Care Guide
As these gloves are genuine goat leather, there's a few general tips we have for you to fit, wear, and enjoy your gloves.
For leather, water and oil/grease is the enemy, and keeping it out is as easy as re-conditioning them. Spot clean them with water and mild soap (like saddle soap) when needed and remove excess dirt. Dirt can cause additional abrasion on the gloves as well as wick away moisture from the gloves, making them less supple. For oil stains, use baking soda. Re-condition as needed but especially after washing with your favorite leather conditioner. Since these gloves are black, you likely won't notice any major "darkening" from conditioning.
ALWAYS air dry or line dry, NEVER use a dryer or excessive heat. Avoid harsh chemicals and bleaches as all of these will damage the leather.
Leather gloves like these may need some time to properly "Break in". Our recommended process is to put them on, soak them in lukewarm water while wearing them. Make a fist shape with your hands if they need to stretch out a bit. Naturally over time the gloves will curve to your hands, but this accelerates the process. As always, re-condition after contact with this much water.
