Today's a huge milestone - after a ton of research and extensive sampling process that we already had rolling, we've officially chosen a vendor and the Spetsnaz urban camo Gorka is entering production right now.
The suits will now be made in Myanmar by the same manufacturer that makes our Reversible DNC/DCU Parkas. In other words, an already well-trusted manufacturer that can meet our volume needs and strict QC standards. And on top of that, their sample of the Gorka suit actually exceeded our expectations.
Our new vendor currently estimates that we should be able to ship out everyone's suit before the end of the year. Of course, we'll let you know if that changes, and we'll be a little more specific once we get closer to delivery day...
With the order placed, our infinite-pre-order now changes to limited stock. We definitely made sure to order a good quantity of suits this time, but there is no longer a guarantee that your size will be available.
To that end, as of this post, we'll be running a week-long last call on preorders for the suit ending on June 25th. After that, we'll be closing sales on the rest of the inventory until it arrives at the warehouse. So needless to say, if you've been waiting for today's news, You're going to have to be quick with it, or hope that your suit of choice is in stock later.
Full credit where it's due, you guys and your tenacious support for this project is absolutely insane. When we first had the idea for the suit, we thought it was way too niche. We're so happy that we were so wrong that we caught a little flak for it. And thanks to all of you, this is now the biggest run of gorka suits we've ever made.
