Update 4: Production Started

Great news all around today, probably our most anticipated update to post.

We received the final pre-production prototype, and It's just what we wanted.

We're happy to say that we've cut basically zero corners on hardware, trim, fabric, and construction and made a very, very good looking SMERSH. Notably, we've perfected a 500D NIR compliant Cordura that has been lab-dip color matched to the OG SMERSH while also being far more durable.

After spending a fair bit of time looking at all its angles, we've got the thumbs up from R&D and we're finally starting production today.

Please note: colors of the rig in this post may appear slightly incorrect due to lighting & the fact that this was shot through a phone camera. We will have more color-accurate photos available on site as soon as we can.

While we don't have 100% concrete completion dates, here's our best forecast for you:

We're still discussing things at the moment, but we'll have a more solid delivery date from Arktis in January.

We'll get you guys in the loop as soon as we can, but conservatively we think we can start sending SMERSH rigs out the door by the end of Q1 2025, with completion of all outstanding orders in Q2.

That being said, we're working diligently to expedite production and delivery of rigs, likely opting for a "Batch delivery" so rigs will ship out bit by bit from our warehouse, with the oldest orders likely first in line.

Obviously, you (and us alike) can rest assured that Production is now in progress.

Once again, thank you for your patience, now that we've seen a complete rig, we're confident you'll love it, and it'll be the best SMERSH we could possibly make.
