Your Muon Detector is starting to pulse faster and faster. You recall seeing a strange portal forming at the Athena 1 site just begging to be jumped into. You're definitely going to need one (or two) of these.
Made popular by video game titles such as Day Z and S.T.A.L.K.E.R., the Czech M10 is perhaps one of the most iconic gas masks to come out of Warsaw pact countries. A clone of the US's M17, the M10M is a slightly upgraded M10 featuring a drinking tube, improved head harness, and plastic voice diaphragm. The mask would go on to be used by the Československá Lidová Armáda and NVA in the 80s along with other NBC accessories like hoods and even full suits.
Each mask will come as a full kit, including all the standard issue accessories and the carrying bag. Replacement lenses, activated charcoal filters, and inhale valves are all included. obviously, the filters are quite old but they are safe to have in the mask. We can only guarantee the filter's use for "costume purposes only".
As an added bonus, you'll get the signature Czech Surplus Smell in your nostrils every time you take a breath in!
How to put included filters in
For the uninitiated, these filters might seem odd, but you basically stuff them in the cheeks and screw in the inhale valves from the outside. On the inside of the mask you'll find two sets of rubber button closures that you'll undo and slip the filters behind. Remember to take the rubber covers off the filter threads so you can screw in the inhale valve from the outside. It can take some time to get everything crammed in but when they're in they'll nicely fill out the "cheeks" of the mask. Once they're in, re-do the button closures and make sure the mouth and nose cup aren't tucked in and you're set!

These masks use the Soviet gas mask sizing system, which we've translated into US sizing (roughly). Thankfully the strap system is pretty forgiving when it comes to sizing.
While all sizes can fit, the proper size is the one that seals to your face and doesn't squeeze your skin too hard. A size small might fit but that doesn't mean it covers the vital parts or contours of your face to create a proper and safe seal. Size medium-large seems to be the catch all with small and large being extremes. If you receive your gas-mask in the wrong size feel free to contact us for a free exchange. Gas mask sizing is tricky. The size that fits is "the size that fits."
The masks overall are in like new condition and come in their original bags with accessories and filters.
